Honours Graduate of Moscow State Linguistic University (Moris Toreza), 1982. Honours Diploma in Management of Moscow State Correspondence Financial-Economical Institute, 1996. Certified Commercial Investment Member. CCIM degree of CCIM American Institute, 2005. V. Setskaya began her career in real estate field in Perestroika Russian-American Joint Venture where she held various positions including rent manager from 1989 to1993. Perestroika Joint Venture turned to be the first development company in Russia specializing in construction of Class A business centers and also elite residential property for lease by the largest western companies.

V. Setskaya has broad experience in real estate projects organization and their management. Partner and co-founder of GVA Sawyer since 1993.

In 2012 the independent international organization RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Great Britain) elected Vera Anatolievna a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors -FRICS- in honor of merits in the professional real estate market, and awarded her a diploma.

V. Setskaya speaks English fluently, reads and translates from German and Italian.
