Overview
The analyzed facility is a hotel built during the Soviet era. The project feature is that the hotel is located near the principal office of TATNEFT JSC, the sixth largest oil company in Russia. The customer has applied to the Adviser in order to engage a professional hotel operator of international standing in the project.
According to the work results a high interest in running the hotel has been demonstrated by 6 international hotel operators. Their contacts were given to the Customer.
Technical data
Total area of a hotel - 6 460 sq m, the land plot area - 6001 sq m
Height – 9 floors (there is a possibility to raise the hotel height).
A concept of the future complex stipulates construction of a new hotel or reconstruction of a functioning one which will include about 100 rooms and the following units of the infrastructure:
- Restaurant (with an area of around 90 sq m) and café (with an area of around 30 sq m);
- Stands of souvenirs and Russian press;
- Travel and information centre “Almetyevsk”;
- Other related infrastructure.
Besides, a parking lot for 120 cars is also included in the project.
Performed services
- a list of requirements to a hotel operator has been made;
- a preliminary facility presentation booklet written in Russian and in English has been created for an operator;
- selection principle to choose the most qualified hotel operator for the facility has been formed;
- a survey concerning the interest of hotel operators to be engaged in the project and the necessity to correct some details in the reconstruction project has been conducted;
- search and selection of a hotel operator have been carried out;
- a list of potential operators interested in running the hotel has been made;
- potential interest of hotel operators has been found out;
- preliminary negotiations have been held.
