Elena Shevchuk spoke at the International Expo XVI “Construction week of Moscow Region – 2014” as a moderator of a session

Elena Shevchuk, GVA Sawyer Vice-President, held a session “Office property in Moscow Region: market prospects” at the industry exhibition “Construction week of Moscow Region – 2014”, which takes place now in “Krokus-Expo” and it’s initiator is Moscow Region Government.

This year a keynote of the event were quality changes, aimed at comfortable environment creation for the citizens. Participants of the professional association brought up such worldwide topics as a new town planning policy, modernization of infrastructure projects, building of new offices and creation of development epicenters in Podmoskovye.

Elena Shevchuk pointed out: “Perspectives of dynamic growth of administrative clusters in Podmoskovye are already obvious, and they will directly depend on rates of transport infrastructure development, housing construction scope and making of target demand on such objects. Even now our company provides special consulting services on popular concept design of administrative and retail areas as a part of large projects in Podmoskovye”.

During the session, representatives of consulting companies Dmitriy Klapsha (Vice President of office department, CBRE) and Mikhail Yakubov (Vice-President of strategic consulting department, JLL) also anticipated successful development of office segment outside of MKAD, appearance of new object categories with non-standard concepts, considering demands of future tenants and buyers.

Mustapha Bilek (President of MEBE group company), developer of MEBE ONE project in Khimki, and Alexander Adadurov (Director of investment office, ODAS Skolkovo), developer of Innograd Skolkovo project in Odintsovo region, noted that comfortable infrastructure, advanced social functions and convenient access were main factors of effective project outside of MKAD. Nikolay Milkis (First Deputy General Director of OJSC “Korporatsiya razvitiya Moskovskoy oblasti”) agreed over that statement. Nikolay presented a package of proposals of new mixed-use clusters in neighbor towns of Podmoskovye, being formed by Moscow Region Government together with private investors.

The International industry exhibition “Construction week of Moscow Region” is a unique congress and exhibition event with federal status. This is a useful place for a dialogue between Moscow Region Authority and real estate market experts. In 2014 record number of participants will take part in the exhibition, more than 15 000 participants in 3 days. Business programme will last all 3 days of the show in three conference halls, total number of speakers is 160 people, including international market experts.
